Graduate in Law and Political Science from the Autonomous University of Madrid, with an Erasmus stay at the University of Cambridge and a Master’s Degree in European Law from the College of Europe in Bruges.
He began working in the energy sector in 2013 as a lawyer at the Barcelona-based firm Holtrop, where he was involved, among other matters, in litigation against cuts to renewables at both European and Spanish level. He later headed the legal department of the energy retailer Holaluz, was an independent director of the Fundeen platform and Vice-President of the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF).
Daniel is currently Managing Director of L’Energètica, the renewable energy company of the Generalitat, and a lecturer in energy regulation at UNIR.
He is the author of “La superpotencia renovable” (Arpa Editores, 2023).
