Fundación Renovables follows and applies the following transparency criteria and standards.

1 Establishment of the Foundation and identifying details

Protectorate of the Ministry of the Environment, and Rural and Marine Affairs, under number 280047.

c. Tax status
Fundación Renovables is covered by Law 49/2002 and is therefore considered a non-profit entity eligible for patronage tax benefits.

a. Contracts with public administrations: subject matter, duration, tender and award amounts and amendments.
Fundación Renovables currently has a minor contract with the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real for the drafting of the “Energy Sustainability Strategy for the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real”, dated 17 March 2021, for an amount of €12,231.41 (excluding VAT).

b. List of agreements signed with public administrations.
Fundación Renovables currently has no collaboration agreement signed with any public administration.

c. Public grants and subsidies received.

Fundación Renovables has the support of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge for the following research activities during 2023 and 2024:

The project “Minimising the impacts of climate change on the natural environment and the urban environment”, which includes the following lines of research:

  • Re-adapting our cities to climate change: [Renaturalisation + Refurbishment] to improve liveability, the water cycle and energy management.
    - From concrete to oasis: renaturalisation, the key to dissipating heat islands
    - Comprehensive neighbourhood refurbishment through the use of metabolic systems to improve liveability, the water cycle, energy management and urban renaturalisation.
  • Population, landscape and renewable energy. Considerations on the impact of large-scale photovoltaic plants in rural environments and tools for future territorial planning.
  • Water treatment and preservation in Spain: a holistic solution for the impacts of large pig farms and emerging pollutants.
    - Emerging pollutants: identification, quantification and mitigation
    - Assessment of the environmental impact of large pig farms and their relevance in the national context


The total amount awarded is €473,808.19.
