A graduate in Materials Science from the Università di Padova, she has spent more than fifteen years working towards a fair, renewable, efficient, intelligent energy model in the hands of citizens.

She is currently Head of the Renewable Energy campaign at Greenpeace, an organisation where she had previously worked for almost seven years. Between 2012 and 2015 she was Head of the Climate Change and Energy Campaign at the same organisation.

Convinced that energy can be the backbone of the social and environmental change that is needed, Pizzinato managed Fundación Renovables from October 2014 to November 2015. She is also co-founder of Salvia Team, an association dedicated to energy, law and the environment.
